Job Description
- Responding to requests for the release of information or a press conference from the media, or the appointment of a speaker or source of information.
- Establish and maintain relationships with consumers, the community, employees and public interest groups.
- Writing press releases and other media communications to promote clients.
- Plan or direct program development to maintain favorable public and stakeholder views of the organization's agenda and achievements.
- Training customer representatives on effective communication with the public and employees.
- Examine the organization's objectives, promotional policies and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas and services.
- Prepare and edit organizational publications, including employee newsletters or shareholder reports, for internal and external audiences.
- Web content update and maintenance.
- Confer with managers to identify group trends and concerns and advise on business decisions.
Job Requirements
- -Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing or any related field.
