Job Description
-Supervise a team of accountants and ensure accuracy and timeliness in daily accounting transactions.
-Oversee and review journal entries, general ledger activities, and reconciliations.
-Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
-Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes and ensure timely processing.
-Review bank reconciliations, petty cash, and intercompany transactions.
-Prepare and review financial reports and ensure they are in line with internal and external standards.
-Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and tax regulations.
-Support external and internal audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
-Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
-Coordinate with other departments to resolve financial and accounting issues.
-Recommend improvements to processes and internal controls for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
