Financial and cost accountant required
Job Description of financial accountant:
1. Review daily bank transactions and reconcile account statements with the financial system.
2. Reconcile account balances at the end of each financial period and ensure their accuracy.
3. Monitor expenses and revenues and ensure they are recorded in the appropriate accounts.
4. Follow up with other departments (such as purchasing, human resources, and sales) to ensure the integrity of financial data.
5. Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial performance reports for senior management.
6. Prepare and submit tax reports on time, while following up on any outstanding receivables.
7. Prepare cash flow reports and monitor liquidity to provide a proactive financial outlook.
8. Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with internal audit policies and legal requirements.
9. Support the preparation of annual business plans and budgets in coordination with the Finance Department.
10. Work with external auditors and provide the required documents and reports in a timely manner.
Preparing daily entries and accurately documenting accounting transactions using approved accounting software.
11. Preparing periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual), including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
12. Reviewing accounts receivable and payable and ensuring their reconciliation with bank records and supporting documents.
13. Analysing financial variances and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
14. Participating in the preparation of the annual budget and financial spending plans.
15. Handling monthly and annual financial closing processes.
16. Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
17. Preparing and posting accounting entries on a daily basis in accordance with approved financial procedures.
Job Description of Cost accountant:
- Collect cost information and maintain expense database.
- Build company data accumulation systems.
- Identify fixed and variable costs.
- Review company standard and actual costs.
- Prepare budget reports.
- Analyze and report company profit margins.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cost forecasts.
- Ability to combine different financial data.
- Provide accurate information on product cost.
- Count the number of all products and determine their nature and specifications.
- Assist in closing end of month and end of year.
- Identify and recommend cost effective solutions.
- Conduct inventory on warehouses every 3 months with weekly inventory on some items.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Department
More than 8 years of experience in assignment
Excellent in using Excel and accounting programs
Financial analysis skills
Preferably those who have completed a data analysis course
Proficient in using ERP software.
Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards.
High analytical and organizational skills.
Advanced proficiency in using Excel and financial reporting.
