Job Description
- Direct and administer the daily operations of IT Technical Support Team.
- Provide technical leadership for the team (including guidance/training to junior team members and quality review).
- Assist in Performing analysis and design of the business system requirements and specifications as required.
- Send periodically reports to IT Manager that indicate performance or utilization of current software or infrastructure instruments.
- Check organization hardware to determine needs and afford shortage by preparing Purchasing application with IT Manager Approval.
- Check hardware before receipt it from Purchasing Officer.
- Recommend Vendors to purchasing officer to deal with.
- Assist in Develop strategies to improve the design of the existing Software and optimize performance.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks and its confidentiality.
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.
- Communicate with employees to determine the nature of problems.
- Responding to breakdowns.
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Repairing equipment and replacing parts if needed.
- Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
- Checking computer equipment for electrical safety.
- Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies as scheduled.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in computer science and MIS.
- 3+ Years of experience.
- Hands-on computer network administration, hardware and installation.
- CCNA and MCSA certificates is preferred.
