Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Exploration & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data from Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and other sources to deliver insights that drive product and business decisions.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using MaxPanel, Power BI, and similar BI platforms.
- KPI Tracking: Define, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators for product, marketing, and operations teams.
- SQL & NoSQL Querying: Write optimized SQL for Postgres and craft aggregation pipelines for MongoDB and Elasticsearch to extract and transform data.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Data Quality: Establish and enforce best practices for data hygiene, documentation, and governance.
- Insight Presentation: Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years in a data analyst or similar role.
- BI Tools: Proficiency with MaxPanel and Power BI (or comparable BI platforms).
- Databases: Strong working knowledge of Postgres, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- SQL: Advanced SQL skills for complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
- Visualization: Ability to design clear, intuitive dashboards and visual stories.
- Analytical Mindset: Solid understanding of descriptive and diagnostic analytics techniques.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with statistical modeling or A/B testing.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Airflow or dbt.
