Job Description

Tender Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing project tenders and providing accurate cost estimations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that we submits competitive and profitable bids for various types of projects. 
Responsibilities:
- Review project tenders and understand the client's requirements, technical specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project plans, drawings, and related documents.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimation.
- Identify and quantify project risks, opportunities, and contingencies to develop a comprehensive cost model.
- Prepare and present estimation reports, including breakdowns of costs, assumptions, and justifications.
- Participate in tender review meetings and provide technical inputs related to estimation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements during the estimation process.
- Keep abreast of market trends, new technologies, and industry practices to continuously improve estimation accuracy.
 

Job Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in tender estimation within the engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management concepts.
- Proficient in using estimation software/tools AutoCAD, Candy, Office , primavera.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
