Job Description
- Audit the implementation of daily maintenance activities and review the allocation of technical work within the workshop, in coordination with the Chief Technician.
- Monitor the execution of the periodic maintenance plan according to approved schedules, identify obstacles, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Oversee and verify all technical operations in the workshop, including roadside breakdown tasks, and review the issuance of necessary maintenance orders.
- Audit the distribution of technicians, ensure adherence to work schedules, and evaluate the efficiency of daily performance.
- Inspect and verify technical work carried out by external service centers, ensuring compliance with required quality standards.
- Monitor and review communications through maintenance and repairs channels (groups) in coordination with the Maintenance and Fleet Manager, ensuring proper follow-up and timely response.
- Audit the preparation process of new vehicles in coordination with the Fleet Department to ensure operational readiness.
- Review and approve the planning of external maintenance missions when required.
- Verify the requests for urgent spare parts to ensure they are justified and essential for avoiding downtime.
- Monitor and confirm that vehicles are properly prepared for periodic and technical inspections.
- Audit the performance of maintenance drivers, ensuring they fulfill their assigned responsibilities.
- Prepare and validate a comprehensive weekly audit report on all maintenance activities and the general condition of the fleet.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of the daily fleet report for vehicles under repair.
- Audit the preparation of technical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for technicians, tracking productivity and recommending improvement measures.
- Verify accident repair estimates in coordination with the Fleet and Maintenance Manager prior to approval.
- Ensure timely review and response to urgent maintenance-related updates in coordination with the Maintenance Manager to facilitate prompt decision-making.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance or service center management.
Good knowledge of dealerships and technical repair methods.
Strong ability to manage technical teams and coordinate with other departments.
Good communication skills and the ability to prepare technical reports.
Previous experience with MCV is preferred.
