Job Description

  • Prepare and update Material Planning Card (MPC) regularly and relay it to CS & L Manager for review to ensure maintaining agreeable stock levels.
  • Acquire, negotiate, and conduct price comparison of the quotation prices to be cost effective.
  • Search for new suppliers in terms of RM, ORM, and SP in coordination with Technical and Plant to secure alternatives upon needs.
  • Monitor the inventory level and report the non-moving items to management for proper action.
  • Review and monitor stock status to ensure the adequacy of the upcoming month order and maintain the stock level.
  • Highlight shortages of material to the Technical, Production and Customer Service and Logistics manager to ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery to customer.
  • Communicate and coordinate with service supplier to ensure all types of maintenance are taking place.
  • Prepare the Purchase Orders (PO) Vs. Quotation/Proforma Invoice with all supporting documents and pass it to CS & L Manager for review.
  • Submit the supplier invoices with their supporting documents (PO, Supplier Delivery Note and Packing Slip) to accounts department for payment release processing.
  • Ensure the consignments in case of Ex-works or C&F incoterms.
  • Update the Daily Follow-up Sheet showing the order and shipment status on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with Plant and QC about parts and Material rejections, prepare claims, communicate them through proper channels and follow up accordingly.
  • Conduct supplier assessment on yearly base to ensure supplier are up to the required level and update approved suppliers’ list accordingly.
  • Implement Management Systems procedures and instructions related to his/her function(s).
  • Adhere to the different Management Systems requirements as required by the job.
  • Report problem(s), near misses and hazards/risks to the head of department.

Job Requirements

  • Live In Sadat City or able to reallocate. 
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar and related field.
  • Very Good in English.
  • Ability to handle multitasks.
  • Perfect in Microsoft Office applications. Negotiation Skills. Analytical Thinking.
