Job Overview
The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the company’s stringent quality, environmental, and safety standards. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting inspections, and collaborating with teams to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management Systems:
Implement and maintain ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards across company operations.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate product and process quality.
Conducting Quality Tests:
Perform regular inspections to identify defects or deviations from established standards.
Utilize testing methodologies and tools to ensure product reliability and compliance.
Internal Auditing:
Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to ISO standards and company policies.
Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend corrective actions to address non-conformities.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze test and audit results, preparing detailed reports to document findings and suggest improvements.
Use Microsoft Office and Visio software to create process flowcharts, reports, and documentation.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with production and other departments to enhance processes based on quality findings.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality and efficiency.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all processes and products comply with internal policies, ISO standards, and industry regulations.
Stay updated on best practices in quality assurance and relevant ISO frameworks.
Training and Support:
Provide guidance and training to staff on quality, environmental, and safety standards.
Support teams in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree quality management, or a related field.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Certifications: Internal Auditor Certificate for ISO 9001 is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio software for process mapping and documentation.
Excellent English language proficiency (written and verbal).
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with QA tools and methodologies (e.g., defect tracking, root cause analysis) is preferred.
