Job Description:
In this role, the HSE Supervisor will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and security of our facility and team members. Extensive firefighting experience is essential, as the supervisor will lead our fire safety protocols, implement preventive measures, and coordinate emergency response efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enforce daily HSE compliance, focusing on fire safety standards specific to heavy industry.
- Lead fire safety protocols, including regular firefighting drills, inspections of fire equipment, and emergency response training.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations, identifying potential fire hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety and fire prevention training to employees.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend actionable safety improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to create a safe and proactive work environment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HSE within heavy industry, with a strong emphasis on firefighting experience.
- Proven qualifications in firefighting and emergency preparedness.
- In-depth knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to conduct safety training.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.
