About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Section Head with strong expertise in Egyptian taxation to lead our tax function, ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and manage tax audits effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Payroll Tax, VAT, Stamp Tax).
- Manage tax inspections and act as the primary contact with tax authorities and external auditors.
- Provide internal tax advisory on financial and business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and keep management updated on any changes.
- Lead and develop the tax team, ensuring effective task allocation and performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in taxation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Previous experience in audit firms is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle is a plus).
- Good command of English.
