Job Description
Job Summary: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. And the candidate will provide a direct support to a well reputable Saudi Affiliated Chartered Accounting and Auditing Company. This role involves developing financial models, conducting variance analysis, and preparing forecasts and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management.
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget, actual vs. forecast) and provide explanations for discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Support investment analysis, capital expenditure evaluation, and other ad-hoc financial projects.
- Research and analyze financial data, market trends, and economic conditions.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Related Certificates (Preferred):
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - Level I, II, or III candidate/holder
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - if applicable based on regional standards
- Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA)
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
