Job Description
The AD will be closed on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
- Within Program Year (PY) 5, there are several important activities that SEFPP is engaged in to achieve desired outcomes and goals. The social Behavior Communication Change (SBCC) unit as part of SEFPP team is focusing on building the capacity of the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP)/FP sector task force teams in the targeted slum areas.
- The social marketing consultant will support the Task Force teams in the target Slum Areas to introduce to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) the main concepts of social marketing and begin applying them to their own intervention plans right away.
- Topics will include the social marketing process, audience segmentation, and strategy development with the social marketing mix.
- The consultant will provide the teams with a hands-on social marketing technique to be able to develop a preliminary strategy for their own intervention plans, with feedback provided by the consultant.
Consultant Tasks and Duties
- Develop the training material for Social Marketing skills according to the outline agreed with SEFPP project- slum areas interventions model;
- Conduct social marketing training for slum task force team working in targeted areas in Giza and Alexandria governorates;
- Provide technical support during the workshops of the area’s specific social marketing plans with each team in each of deferent target area; in adopting a social marketing strategy for change and development;
- Establish teamwork understanding for communication skills and media /social campaigns (Types of social marketing with practical application);
- Enhance participants' skills, the ability to set goals/indicators, and ways to measure the outputs as well as how to improve;
- Supporting participants in developing a community marketing plan for reproductive health and family planning services according to the needs of their communities.
- Provide reports in English and Arabic describing the achievements of all implemented activities, level of knowledge, skills, and recommendations in the future

Job Requirements
The social marketing Technical Training Consultants should have the following essential qualifications and experiences:
- Assigned individual should have a Bachelor's degree, ideally in social science, international affairs, marketing, or communication. Masters preferred but not essential;
- Experience in developing and implementing social marketing & digital marketing strategies.;
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in providing Capacity building/ training services.
- Over 7 years’ experience as certified a trainer.
- Able to travel to targeted governorates (Giza & Alexandria)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the existing MOHP systems and policies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively at high levels with multiple stakeholders; including central MOPH, technical experts, Local entities, and NGOs
- Demonstrated ability to contribute technically and also manage effectively in a highly time-sensitive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- English fluency (verbal and written) required
