Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented hashtag#Internal_Control Specialist to join our team in Egypt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring internal control systems to safeguard company assets, ensure the accuracy of financial data, and promote operational efficiency. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate financial and operational risks, and recommend controls to mitigate them.
- Policy Development: Develop and document internal control policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and corporate standards.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and report findings to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure the company's financial and operational activities comply with all relevant Egyptian laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Work closely with various departments to identify and implement improvements to business processes to enhance control and efficiency.
- Investigation: Investigate any identified control weaknesses, fraud, or irregularities and recommend corrective actions.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control procedures and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, or a related field, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment in Egypt.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), risk management, and local Egyptian accounting and legal standards.
Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
- Personal Attributes: Must be highly ethical, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
