Job Description
Your mission will encompass three core pillars
Strategic Vision Architecture: You'll create and iterate on our "Education Domain BrainLift" – the master blueprint that aligns our entire educational ecosystem.
This living document will synthesize market insights, team learnings, and strategic direction into a coherent vision for the future of AI-enabled learning.
Portfolio Orchestration: Transform strategic vision into tactical reality by crafting and steering a dynamic portfolio roadmap.
You'll sequence initiatives to maximize compound value creation, ensuring every product decision advances our broader mission.
Hands-On Leadership: Embrace a hybrid role as both strategist and mentor.
You'll personally drive critical initiatives while coaching your team through their own execution cycles, ensuring portfolio-wide excellence and cohesion.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Traditional People Management: While you'll lead a team, your focus will be on strategic direction and execution excellence rather than administrative management.
Implementing Pre-Baked Strategies: You're not here to execute someone else's vision – you'll be the architect of our educational strategy, building it from the ground up.
Rigid Planning: Forget annual roadmaps gathering dust.
You'll maintain an agile, responsive portfolio strategy that evolves with real-world learnings and outcomes.
Isolated Feature Development: Success means creating a seamlessly integrated educational ecosystem, not a collection of disconnected products and features.
Basic Requirements
AI Product Director key responsibilities
Proven track record with 6+ years in product leadership, demonstrating ownership of product vision and strategic problem-solving
Successfully launched at least one product from conception to market success, achieving $1M+ in revenue
Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools for strategic work, including research, analysis, and planning

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
The payment period is weekly.
