Job Description
- This includes setting quality standards, developing procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
- This involves training, mentoring, and motivating team members to achieve quality goals, as well as evaluating their performance.
- Identifying defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions, and ensuring that they are addressed.
- Working with production, procurement, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
- Addressing customer complaints, resolving quality issues, and meeting customer requirements.
- Keeping abreast of industry regulations and standards, and ensuring compliance within the organization.
- Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of quality control records, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Reporting on quality metrics, deviations, and corrective actions to management.
- Implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Using statistical analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Addressing non-conforming products or processes and implementing solutions to prevent future issues.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Supervising laboratory procedures and ensuring the accurate testing of materials and products.
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints related to product quality.
- Ensuring that all processes, products, and documentation comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Providing training and development for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensuring that standard operating procedures are developed and followed consistently across all QC activities.
- Regularly monitoring production processes to ensure that they are operating within the required quality standards.
- Ensuring that all quality records are kept accurate and up-to-date.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a quality section head for not less than 2 years at the same title.
- Conscientious and responsible.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
- Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.
- BSc of science or relative
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
- Proficient in MS Office.
