About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on substation construction, execution, and supervision . This role involves direct involvement in site activities, installation, commissioning, and coordination of electrical works in high/medium voltage substation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to substation construction.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and utility teams to streamline work execution.
- Monitor installation of transformers, switchgear, cable laying, protection systems, earthing, and auxiliary systems.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain daily progress reports and ensure timely execution of project milestones.
- Support project managers and participate in progress meetings and technical reviews.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems or similar preferred).
- 5 to 12 years of proven experience in substation construction projects (not design).
- Hands-on experience with MV/HV/EHV systems, site installation, and commissioning.
- Strong technical understanding of transformers, GIS, switchgear, and SCADA systems.
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and installation drawings.
- Proficiency in site management tools and MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
