Job Description
- Direct and manage plant operations for production and quality.
- Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental leaders to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Environmental Protection Act and requirements of other statutory bodies
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- Plan, monitor and control production processes cycle time, cost, and quality standard.
- Manage plant overall efficiency against standard
- Overall responsibility for directing, planning and supervising the Maintenance department.
- Monitor downtime reports. Adjust PM’s as needed and ensure equipment operates smoothly at all times.
- Ensuring that plant efficiency is maintained at the highest possible level without sacrificing safety, quality and cost standards
- To be responsible for quality management system.
Job Requirements
- Industrial or Production Engineering with min of 15 years of relevant experience .
- Experience in manufacturing of building materials or construction chemicals industries is a plus.
