Job Description
Shopify Website Development:
- Assist in building and customizing Shopify websites based on design specifications.
- Modify and update Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and Liquid coding.
WooCommerce to Shopify Migration:
- Assist in migrating websites, product catalogs, customer data, and order history from WooCommerce to Shopify.
- Ensure seamless data transfer, including URLs, SEO settings, and content integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any migration-related challenges.
Product Management:
- Support in uploading, managing, and updating product listings, images, and descriptions on Shopify.
- Ensure all product data is accurate and well-organized.
Website Maintenance & Optimization:
- Perform routine updates and fixes to ensure the website runs smoothly.
- Optimize site performance, including speed, responsiveness, and user experience.
Theme Customization:
- Implement changes to existing themes to align with branding and design requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving theme-related issues.
Shopify Apps & Integrations:
- Install, test, and configure Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.
- Work with APIs and third-party tools to integrate features when needed.
Bug Fixes & Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs within Shopify.
- Test website functionality across browsers and devices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior developers, designers, and marketing teams to meet project goals.
- Take direction and feedback to continuously improve skills and outputs.
Content Updates:
- Assist in updating banners, promotions, and other website content as needed.
- Ensure content changes align with the company’s branding.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Perform testing to ensure all new features and updates work correctly before deployment.
- Check for broken links, typos, or errors regularly.
- Learning & Development:
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify features, trends, and best practices.
- Learn new tools and coding techniques to grow within the role.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development
