Job Description

  • Implementing the Admissions cycle comprehensively.
  • Supervise and confirm the smooth workflow.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries from prospective students, their parents, teachers and advisors independently and in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Process incoming applications, checking qualifications, the validity of decisions and authenticity of results.
  • Works on STA Student Record system and other databases with the aim of 100% accuracy.
  • Monitor the responses of applicants to decisions and provide data to the SA Sector on applicant status and workflow. 
  • Ensure that correct procedures are followed when dealing with international students requiring visas in accordance with the law.
  • Liaise regularly with both academic and administrative staff.
  • Design and create different Admissions & Student Affairs forms and requests.
  • Implementing the Student Affairs/Registrar cycle comprehensively.
  • Handle students' inquiries & requests.
  • Register all students on the system according to STA needs.
  • Keep the students' database updated and add all their data on the system.
  • Work on all the needed exam preparations. 
  • Provide the Admissions with the suggested Recruitment ideas/ plan.
  • Monitor Request Tracker (web-based enquiry system) queues and help collate data relating to all admissions enquiries. 
  • Assist with STA Open Days, Conventions and schools visits. 
  • Coordinate with marketing communications team for preparing or updating admission materials, publications and website.
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field required, in Education or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in student affairs in a university
  • Fluency of English written and spoken.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
