Job Description

  • To provide high-quality psychological services to Zewail City students, including therapy, crisis management, and preventive programs, in order to support their well-being and academic performance through evidence-based clinical practice.
  1. Conduct psychological assessments and intake interviews.
  2. Provide individual psychotherapy and, when appropriate, group sessions.
  3. Prepare professional psychological reports as needed.
  4. Participate in crisis intervention and manage high-risk cases
  5. Design and implement psychoeducational workshops and outreach activities.
  6. Maintain confidential clinical records.
  7. Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff.
  8. Commit to regular professional clinical supervision.
  9. Contribute to service development within the unit.
  10. Coordinate mental health events, awareness campaigns, and workshops in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  11. Communicate professionally via email with students, faculty, and external professionals as needed.
  12. Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations for referrals, trainings, or joint initiatives.
     

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Accredited clinical training under professional supervision.
  • Licensed or in the process of obtaining a clinical license.
  • Strong knowledge of ethical practice and psychological assessment.
  • Commitment to ongoing clinical supervision as an essential component of ethical clinical practice.
  • Familiarity with psychometric tools and evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • High level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage event logistics.
  • Strong professional communication skills, especially via email.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with external entities and represent the unit in collaborative projects.
