Job Description
- To provide high-quality psychological services to Zewail City students, including therapy, crisis management, and preventive programs, in order to support their well-being and academic performance through evidence-based clinical practice.
- Conduct psychological assessments and intake interviews.
- Provide individual psychotherapy and, when appropriate, group sessions.
- Prepare professional psychological reports as needed.
- Participate in crisis intervention and manage high-risk cases
- Design and implement psychoeducational workshops and outreach activities.
- Maintain confidential clinical records.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff.
- Commit to regular professional clinical supervision.
- Contribute to service development within the unit.
- Coordinate mental health events, awareness campaigns, and workshops in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Communicate professionally via email with students, faculty, and external professionals as needed.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations for referrals, trainings, or joint initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Accredited clinical training under professional supervision.
- Licensed or in the process of obtaining a clinical license.
- Strong knowledge of ethical practice and psychological assessment.
- Commitment to ongoing clinical supervision as an essential component of ethical clinical practice.
- Familiarity with psychometric tools and evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- High level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage event logistics.
- Strong professional communication skills, especially via email.
- Ability to liaise effectively with external entities and represent the unit in collaborative projects.
