Job Brief:

We are looking for a Raw material sourcing specialist with a chemical background to join our growing team at Novochem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing raw materials for the construction chemicals industry and will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, cost optimization, and material availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify new sources for raw materials relevant to the production of construction chemicals.
• Analyze technical specifications and match them with potential suppliers’ offerings.
• Monitor market trends and material availability to support proactive sourcing strategies.
• Collect technical data sheets (TDS), samples, and certifications for internal evaluation.
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure materials meet performance and compliance standards.
• Maintain an up-to-date directory of potential suppliers and material options.
• Support the procurement team with insights on material alternatives or sourcing challenges.
• Assist in the export readiness of the material sourcing process by aligning with regulatory and documentation needs.
• Coordinate with logistics or customs teams when sourcing involves import constraints or material classification issues.
