Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 4+ years of experience to design and optimize systems that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors, along with hands-on knowledge of Insurance Management Systems. Experience working in an Agile environment is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts, BPMN diagrams, and other visual models, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
- Define the scope of work and deliver technical documents such as SRS (Software Requirements Specification), BRD (Business Requirements Document), and SDS (System Design Specification).
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and training users.
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, forming project teams, and establishing project budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum practices, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in the IT industry.
Experience:
- 4 to 8 years of experience in the health insurance industry.
