Job Summary:
Senior Specialist Engineering Solution is a subject matter expert who understand the defense market and can differentiate the most compliant and competitive technology suppliers for defense projects, have good supplier relationship and understand the products related to (Weapons, Ammunitions, Missiles, Unmanned Systems and sub systems)
Key Accountabilities:
You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for one or more of the following applications: Weapons, ammunitions, missiles, sub systems to evaluate the most compliant and competitive technology suppliers for defense projects.
Assess Client RPF technical requirements and identify suitable products and solutions.
Conduct supplier’s technical review, evaluations, and perform technical bid analysis.
Work with the procurement team to develop and implement sourcing strategies to support the procurement of technical components, material and services.
Collaborate closely with end user and internal stakeholders (BD, bid manager, proposal lead, contract) to understand technical requirement and specification.
Attend exhibitions, manage relationship with key suppliers, Monitor market trend and lead benchmarking activity.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related filed.
Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in technical role.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadline and changing priority.
Solid understanding of solution bid management processes and best practices
Good knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense industry, clients, products, services and processes
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
