Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex engineering contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering to project close-out.
- Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and stakeholders to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Prepare and manage contract documentation, including change orders, claims, and variations.
- Conduct contract analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Support the resolution of disputes and claims, coordinating with legal counsel as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in engineering contracts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of contract management procedures and templates.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on contract administration and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 12 year of experience in contract engineering or a related field within the engineering sector.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply contract terms and conditions.
- Strong understanding of engineering project lifecycles and contract management processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
