A Fast-growing startup is looking for a Senior PHP Developer.
The Senior PHP Developer is responsible for creating and implementing an array of Web-based products using PHP (Native), MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript. You will develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and assist front-end developers by ensuring their work integrates with the application. Also, you might be asked to develop and integrate plug-ins for popular frameworks.
Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP programmer who is comfortable with front and back-end programming.
- Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
- Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Requirements
Requirements and skills
- Good knowledge of SQL and related databases, with a preference for those with MySQL experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the basic PHP 7 or web server exploits along with their solutions.
- Experience building or maintaining a CMS.
- Proficiency when it comes to code versioning tools.
- Proven software development experience in PHP
- Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, Opencart, etc
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Skills And Qualifications
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with UI/UX development
- AngularJs and Ionic frameworks are a plus
