Job Description
- Engage with customers in outdoor settings, such as parks, event venues, or recreational areas, to provide assistance, answer questions, and offer guidance as needed.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products or services offered by the company to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
- Assist in promotional activities, including distributing flyers, samples, or promotional materials, and actively engaging with potential customers to generate interest in products or services.
- Set up and maintain outdoor equipment, such as booths, tents, or displays, to ensure a welcoming and organized environment for customer interaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team by providing support during outdoor sales events, demonstrations, or promotional campaigns, including assisting with product demonstrations and facilitating sales transactions.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and colleagues, especially in outdoor environments where weather conditions or other hazards may pose risks.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and any relevant information, and provide regular reports to management regarding customer trends, issues, and suggestions for improvement.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in outdoor or field-based settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a dynamic outdoor environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and engage in outdoor activities for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using basic office software and familiarity with point-of-sale systems or customer relationship management (CRM) software is advantageous.
