Job Description

  • Conduct Site survey, and collect all the needed data for the engineering design. Listen to customer requirements and understand the requested sequence in order to estimate the engineering and programming period. Report the site survey to the technical office.
  • Consistently meet overall area sales goals. Make regular sales calls/visits on existing major accounts and establish contact with new accounts.
  • Make effective customer presentations, proposal pricing is accurate and technically correct.
  • Strength in selling maintenance and engineering services is desirable. History of new account development a plus.
  • Assist corporate needs in new service assessments, marketing research and literature development.
  • Promote sales through active participation in trade shows and professional societies, give effective presentations for the company.
  • Assist in the technical preparation, Locate and purchase parts and materials for proposals work.
  • Interpret Engineering Reports for customers and assist with the engineering recommendations
  • Deliver the prepared proposal to the client and follow-up.
  • Provide regular progress report, weekly time sheet, and end of work report.
  • Responsible for safety, health and environmental protection of the work site by following policy statement and personal safety guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Fire and Gas experience is a must.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Basic background of instrumentation and automation.
  • Good time management.
  • Active listening, creative thinking and decision making.
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks and workload.
  • A pleasant, confident and teamwork.
  • Reliability and honesty.
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office Package.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Sales activity requires flexible hours on weekends; requires some overnight travel to cover sales territory.
  • Professional level of skill needed for consulting with fellow employees, customers, suppliers, and potential new customers.
  • Fluent English language and other language is a privilege.
