You’re energetic and fast on the uptake. You ask a lot of questions to make sure you’re very clear about what needs doing. You can follow instructions correctly and can also be creative when required. You do your best to get clear on the details of every job and love joining in when we’re brainstorming.
You speak English fluently and Arabic as a first language and value clarity and brevity in your communications. You can work with little supervision as long as support is available when you need to ask questions. You can pick up and use new online tools quickly.
You have a passion for writing and can do it all day. You have experience creating content for blogs and optimising them using Yoast or Rank Math. You’re skilled at repurposing articles and blogs into other social media captions, adapting for each platform.
You’re a “Jack of All Trades” who loves writing, online tools and social media. You enjoy social media and can do it all day long without feeling burnt out.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Writing blog posts, long-form articles, social media captions, eBooks, email and other web copy.
- Publishing articles using the WordPress CMS (Gutenberg and Divi)
- Execute content marketing initiatives to meet targets
- Meet writing deadlines and follow style guides and SEO instructions.
- Collaborate with designers and CMO to produce high-quality content
- Consistently deliver engaging and relevant content
- Write, Edit, proofread, and improve blog posts, eBooks, web pages, ad copy and social media posts
- Gather web and social metrics
- Maintain a consistent web presence across various channels
- Generate innovative ideas to enhance customer engagement
- Execute internal linking campaigns
Job Requirements
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Marketing or a related field
- Hands-on experience in Social Media Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years of writing experience in English and Arabic (Blogs and web copy)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
- Experience in creating landing pages using WordPress and HubSpot
- Experience scheduling, writing and executing social and email campaigns
- Proven experience in crafting customer-engaging content
- Strong time management skills, handling multiple projects simultaneously
