Job Description
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project under the guidance of the Planning Manager.
- Coordinate with project teams (engineering, procurement, construction) to gather required inputs for schedule development.
- Support in preparing baseline schedules, tracking progress, and updating timelines based on site inputs.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly work activities and ensure alignment with the overall project plan.
- Identify potential schedule delays and assist in proposing corrective actions or recovery plans.
- Prepare and update progress reports, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the analysis of actual vs. planned progress and highlight variances.
- Support in quantity tracking and S-curve generation for progress monitoring.
- Maintain proper documentation of planning and scheduling data, reports, and revisions.
- Attend coordination meetings and document planning-related discussions and decisions.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, contract obligations, and planning standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Electrical, Mechanical or Civil.
- 0–3 years of experience in planning or project control roles in construction or engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of substations or electrical infrastructure projects is a plus.
