Job Description
- Manage directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the Mechanical work groups at site.
- Prepare Engineering drawings such as Shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Interpret construction drawings and study the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to the execution of any jobs.
- Oversee the mechanical work plan and coordinate with other trades (civil, electrical, etc.) to complete the work and avoid clashes.
- Ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national, or international standards.
- Estimate, prepare, and assign the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work.
Job Requirements
- Experience with HVAC, Firefighting, and plumbing systems is a must.
- Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or others)
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing skills
- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.
