Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of medical equipment, laboratory supplies, and general goods.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and service agreements.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for audit and reporting purposes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with budgetary and operational goals.
- Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or payment disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-8 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and supplier evaluation processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
