Job Vacancy – Purchasing Manager
A leading organization based in Alexandria is seeking to appoint a highly competent and experienced Purchasing Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in purchasing operations and tendering processes within large organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all purchasing operations in accordance with the company’s approved policies.
- Prepare and oversee tenders and purchasing practices, ensuring compliance with all legal and administrative procedures.
- Analyze and assess the needs of various departments and ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality supply.
- Build and maintain a strong supplier network and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor the local market and price trends to secure the best purchasing deals.
- Supervise the purchasing team, assign tasks, and follow up on execution.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and stock status.
- Coordinate with technical and administrative departments to fulfill their purchasing requirements.
Job Requirements
???? Requirements:
- A relevant university degree (Bachelor’s degree ).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a Purchasing Manager role.
- In-depth knowledge of the local market, especially in Alexandria and Cairo.
- Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Residence in Alexandria is a must
