Job Description

  • We are searching for a well-organised purchasing officer to join our growing team . As you will carry out the tasks allocated by purchasing manager,which may include conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers,inspecting goods,and updating records.You should be able to negotiate pricing and transport costs.
  • This candidate should be able to multitask and evaluate products and vendors.Also should be smooth negotor will be keen eye for details.
  • Sourcing materials,goods, products and services and  negotiating the best or most cost
  • perform inventory inspections and recording supplies and stock as necessary
  • Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items and inconsistencies immediately
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders payments and received stock
  • Coordinating with the delivery team and following upon delay or orders that have been rescheduled
  • Establishing professional relationship with vendors and suppliers
  • Ensuring all stock in packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field may be required
  • Previous experience in a similar position especially factories
  • Proficiency in the relevant management software programs
  • Superb written and verbal communication and negotiations Excellent network and time management skills
