Job Description
1- Create and improve the Cost Control department policies, procedures and processes to ensure efficient functioning.
2- Review new-awarded projects, identify initial cost related risks, areas of concern, and prepare preliminary cash flow for financial needs.
3- Assign the projects to the cost control engineers and hire additional engineers when needed.
4- Follow-up preparing the indirect cost plan and make any amendments when needed to be sent to the project manager.
5- Monitor projects’ progress; comparing actual executed works against planned, and issue work volume status reports on a monthly basis for Projects Directors and Top Management.
6- Update projects cash flow on a quarterly basis with respect to progress updates, cost under or overrun and approved scope changes.
7- Consolidate the projects in reports in terms of cost and work volume to show the Top Management the revenue, gross profit percentage and estimate at completion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- 12 - 15 Years of experience in construction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
- Experience in Large Mixed Use Projects
- candidates must be proficient with standard cost management, estimating, and project controls software, and should be familiar with scheduling.
- A CCC, PMI or AACE certification will be considered an asset.
- Excellent English Language Skills
