Overview:
We are a rapidly growing collaborative robot (cobot) company looking for a Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist based in Egypt. This remote role is ideal for someone with a solid software background, a foundational understanding of robotics, and a strong desire to learn and grow. You will provide first-line support to customers, focusing on programming and software-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for cobot programming and software via email, phone, or chat
- Assist customers with software setup, updates, and basic troubleshooting
- Document issues and escalate more complex problems to Tier 2 support when needed
- Work independently while communicating clearly with global teams
- Stay up to date on product updates, manuals, and technical documentation
- Help improve internal support resources and contribute to knowledge base articles
Job Requirements
- Strong background in software (Python, C++, or other programming languages)
- Basic understanding of robotics or automation systems (training provided)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); strong communication skills are a must
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused
- Self-motivated and able to manage time and tasks without supervision
- Comfortable working from home with stable internet access
- Comfortable using both Linux and Windows operating systems
