Job Description
- Lead the architectural design process from concept development through construction documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project feasibility.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers to align design objectives with project timelines and budgets.
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.
- Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Present design proposals and progress updates to clients and internal teams.
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into projects.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
- Proven track record of managing architectural projects from concept to completion.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
