Job Description

SDEC is one of the leading equipment distributors and custom industrial equipment solution providers. SDEC has a dynamic portfolio of products which is determined by the needs of our customers. SDEC culture is characterized by high customer orientation with a long-term view of relationships. We are inviting applications from experienced sales professionals who are knowledgeable and interested in engines primarily, diesel and to an extent, gas. In this job, the person will be part of a team responsible for evangelizing a growing portfolio of industrial equipment across the assigned territory. The person will be reporting to a Sales Manager with country-wide responsibility who in turn reports to the Business Head. This job is to be based in one of our sister companies that specialized not only in supplying industrial equipment for various use cases but also in bespoke equipment O&M services.Principal responsibilities for this job are as below:Identify business opportunities and build relationships with prospective customersBe a consultant to prospective as well as regular customers by leveraging the equipment portfolioProvide quotations or estimates based on information provided by the customerSupport customers in ensuring they get proper product support from the After Sales teamKeep track of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and salesDeliver sales pitches which involve professional presentations to influence customersObtain customer information and ensure that it is provided to Sales AdministrationMaintain customer data as per the policy in the CRM softwareProvide inputs for marketing and sales planning as per official communicationPrepare reports with analysis as per the requirements stated by Business Head and /or Manager.We are looking for sales professionals:With an engineering backgroundHaving at least 2 years of experience with similar products in KSAFamiliar with CRM practicesHighly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in salesExcelling in selling, communication and negotiation skillsHaving Prioritizing, time management and organizational skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needsPossessing a valid KSA Driving LicenseAverage proficiency in Business EnglishAverage proficiency in Excel, Word and OutlookHighly proficient in MS PowerPointFluency in Business Arabic is desirableHaving relationship management skills and openness to feedbackSaudi and GCC nationals will be given preference.
