DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for an Health and Safety Engineer in Saudi Arabia.* You will support to develop and administer health, safety and environment plans and processes to mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments and provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Health and Safety Engineer position:

You will have to support administration of health, safety and environment plans and processes to provide employees a safe and healthy work environment You will execute health and safety frameworks and policies across the operations, facilities and employees to comply to health and safety standards, laws and relevant regulations You will undertake administration of policies and practices to identify/ mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace You will regularly conduct checks to detect potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices and working conditions You will conduct inspections of grounds, facilities and premises, identify areas of non-adherence and risks of injuries/ job-related threats as per the laid down policies and standards You will prepare initial analysis reports on potential causes and suggested measures based on investigations of job-related injuries and fatalities You will have to document records of workplace injuries, illness and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies Collate, study and report information and suggested prevention measures related to causes of accidents You will deliver training and instructions to employees and teams on safety protocols and safety-conscious work performance You will identify and resolve recurring issues and suggest modifications related to health, safety and environment work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency You may provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification More than 2 years of experience within the same field.
