MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:To lead and manage the Oncology nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiencesKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the teamTo ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standardsTo ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagementTo manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient careTo monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvementREQUIRED EDUCATION:Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing InstituteDesired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare fieldvalid BLS and ACLS certificateREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior nursing experience in an Oncology unit, preferably in a private hospitalDesired: 5-10 years senior nursing experienceREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)Presentation SkillsUAE Labour LawComputer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applicationsCost management principlesDemonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice)Demonstrate the ability to manage meetings effectivelyQuality management and governance standards and best practiceRisk management principles, systems and best practiceSkilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical proceduresStock control principles and managementUAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirementsWorkforce planning and schedulingAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
