IT/OT System Administrator

Guardian Glass in Egypt is hiring an IT/OT System Administrator based in Cairo, 10th of Ramadan City.What You Will DoTraditional IT systems knowledge, mostly Process Network oriented (process network and security infrastructure, plant operational printers, anti-virus, and patching, wired and wireless networks etc.).Cybersecurity.Bridge among the different teams such as engineering and global IT/OT teams.Propose new solutions based on the local experience, for future enhancements.Testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting abilities.Local vendors relationship.Physical assistance for preventive and reactive maintenance.Be able to proceed to change any of those during:Failures. Preventive/Predictive maintenance windows.Planned technology changes.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent work experience.Experience in the administration of a network of servers, desktop systems and communication devices.Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols as well as server and desktop technologies, esp. Windows Server.Working knowledge of Cisco and VMware is very nice to have.Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure.Fluent in EnglishWhat Will Put You AheadDesirable basic knowledge of ICS elementsHMI, Scada, data collectors, HistorianIndustrial communication protocols, OPC, profinet, Modbus….PLCsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
