Every day we help our clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in 120 offices across 50 countries worldwide.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Sustainability professional to fulfil the role of Assistant Sustainability Consultant - UAE National, as part of our growing Sustainability and Net Zero team.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients from various sectors, whilst developing and delivering a broad range of sustainability services.AccountabilitiesWork with senior team members to develop and deliver Sustainability and Net Zero strategies across projects and programmes and throughout the asset lifecycleDevelop internal relationships with infrastructure, real estate and natural resources sectors, liaising with Project Managers and Commission Leads on projectsEmbedding Sustainability principles into all aspects of project deliveryResponsibilitiesDeliver work in line with client requirements and agreed proposal deliverablesWork with Commission Leads and Sustainability Subject Matter Experts to write technical solutions to meet client requirementsSupport in effective and efficient project delivery and development of technical capabilitiesSupporting the implementation and monitoring of Turner & Townsend’s Corporate Responsibility and Net Zero strategies.QualificationsEducated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subjectProfessionally qualified member of a recognised institutionSustainability certification accreditation desirableKnowledge / ExperienceUnderstanding of sustainability principles as applied in the build environment is essential, including the areas of energy and carbon (Net Zero Emissions), water, waste, circular economy, and biodiversityExperience of working in real estate and infrastructure (masterplan)Awareness of environmental legislation and sustainability issues in regionUnderstanding of net zero principles, including carbon assessment, monitoring and reportingExperience of working in multi-disciplinary teams on projectsExperience of working throughout the lifecycle of projectsUnderstanding of sustainability accreditation methods such as LEED, Estidama or WELL would be an advantageAwareness of global, national and regional issues, including the Climate and Biodiversity Emergency and Net Zero EmissionsHigh quality service delivery, communications and ways of working with othersExcellent communication including writing and presentation skillsAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
