Working across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, GMG has introduced more than 120 brands into its markets.Job DescriptionEnsure operational availability of machinery to achieve daily planned targets.Develop projects for continuous improvement.Planned preventive maintenance of all Machinery & equipment.Planning & Organizing work processes.Interpret targets and breakdown into objectives for each shift.Plan alterations with regards to process/work flow and changes to Equipment, Building and construction.In-process work flowIdentify problems and give instructions to team members to ensure effective and efficient workflow.Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are conducted.Conduct job observations on Artisans.Ensure Plant efficiencies by effective preventive maintenance.Conduct monthly asset inspections using the asset register.Ensure that all assets (motor vehicles, forklifts, tools and equipment) are controlled.Monitoring all ADHOC outsourced work done by contractors on site and that all contractors follow the site rules with regards to PPE, GMP, HACCP and Safety.Supervision of all labor used in repairs and maintenance of existing and new projects.Quality Management and HousekeepingSite and Plant hygiene and housekeeping to be maintained. Compliance with HACCP/GMP standards. Ensure that all mechanical and electrical inspections are inspected by approving the Job once conducted.Health and SafetyEnsure Health and safety processes and procedures are complied with. Ensure a safe and neat work environment.Budget and Cost controlEnsure site Technical budget is controlled. Meets targets on Fixed costs (Repairs & Maintenance).Ensures that the Spare parts stock holding is correct and that systems are implemented and available for Technical Purchasing by coordinating with the management team.People ManagementDevelopment of people assets in your team by ensuring all technical employees is trained. Provides clear communication, guidelines and targets to the team.Maintain discipline and compliance to general rules. Requesting disciplinary actionwhen deemed necessary.Perform any other assignments (maintenance functions, duties & responsibilities) as required by Factory Managers or Director of Operations.Work is always time based, machinery breakdown/ release for PM/ Project time scale Etc
