Job Description
Missions/Main Duties
Lead, implement, and maintain integrated project controls functions: cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, change management, and document control.
Develop, update, and control master schedules, cost plans, forecasts, and risk registers for project delivery in alignment with the Client's requirements.
Ensure rigorous performance monitoring and reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making for project leadership and stakeholders.
Coordinate the design and implementation of systems and processes for effective project controls based on best international and regional practices.
Supervise and mentor project controls teams, ensuring competency development and high-quality outputs.
Analyze project metrics to identify risks and trends, proposing mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
Collaborate with delivery partners, contractors, consultants, and Client representatives to align project control standards and expectations.
Lead the preparation and submission of regular project performance reports, progress updates, and executive dashboards.
Support audits, reviews, and compliance checks in relation to all project controls processes.
Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.
Profile/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (mandatory).
Minimum 14 years’ project controls experience on major transport or infrastructure projects.
At least 7 years’ experience in the Middle East region, preferably working on ministerial, governmental, or mega-projects.
In-depth knowledge of project controls functions (cost, schedule, risk, change, document control).
Proficiency with project management and controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Cost Management Systems).
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team supervision abilities.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCP, PMI-SP) are an advantage; experience working with Ministries or government entities preferred.
