Our commitment is to celebrate character – no matter what ethnic background, gender, age, religion, identity, or disability.About the job: Kent is recruiting for Lighting Technician based in Qatar to work at one of their client’s facility and will be responsible for the following activities:Your responsibilities:Primary Objectives Responsible for performance and execution of operations, maintenance, trouble shooting, repair and modification of the assigned Lighting SystemsSpecific Accountabilities Carry out Maintenance activities on a day to day basis. Performs preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities. Perform trouble shooting and execute repair as necessary. Perform modification and installation as required. Ensure COMPANY’s Policies and Procedures are followed at all timesEssential Experience / Skills: At least (8) years experience in large Electrical Installation of which 4 to 5 years in Maintenance Electricals in Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals Plant. Highly skilled in Electrical Trade and have full knowledge of Lighting Systems, Illumination, Installation and Lighting Spare. Familiar with type of lighting component use in hazardous zone classification. Shall be certified “CompEx awareness” certification to work for ATEX & EX type of Electrical / Instrument apparatus (Evidence Certificate is required).Matching Indicators: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Technical Course or Trade Certificate.
