Job Description
As Engineering Supervisor, you will
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Engineering team, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment.
Monitor and respond to maintenance requests promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and operations.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety equipment.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Support the Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer in planning projects, budgets, and technical improvements.
Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop their technical skills and service mindset.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and inventory controls.
Assist in emergency situations such as power failures, fire alarms, or water leaks to ensure guest safety and operational continuity.
Perform additional tasks as required to support smooth hotel operations.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior engineering/maintenance role, preferably within luxury hospitality.
Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with other departments.
Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergencies as required.
