AP Accountant

We are looking for an experienced AP Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an AP Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end closing activities.Responsibilities:expenses to accounts and cost centers and control petty cash spending.vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies.purchase order amendments and stop payments.payroll expense claims, including salary advances and overtime payments.recordkeeping and prepare financial reports.and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.and code invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper account allocation.with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.with other departments to resolve any invoice or payment issues.accurate and up-to-date vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.with the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed.compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.Requirements:degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting role.understanding of accounting principles and procedures.in using accounting software.
