Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architect Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As an Architect Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of architectural projects throughout the city and surrounding areas.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and construction sites to verify compliance with local building codes, regulations, and approved plans
Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications for accuracy and adherence to standards
Identify and document structural or design issues, code violations, and safety hazards
Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues
Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide guidance on compliance requirements
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints
Familiarity with local construction practices and materials used in Saudi Arabia
Experience with construction site inspections and safety protocols
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to travel within Riyadh and surrounding areas for on-site inspections
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building standards
Familiarity with local zoning laws and urban planning regulations
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethical practices

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience in architecture or building inspection
Professional certification in building inspection (e.g., ICC certification)

Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and urban planning regulations
