To see what career opportunities we have available, explore below to find your next career!Reporting to the Deputy Director of Supply Chain Management, the Sr. Subcontracts Manager shall facilitate all facets of subcontracting and procurement management including, but not limited to, writing contractual terms and conditions, special provisions, interpreting prime contract flowdowns, subcontracting, purchasing, and sourcing. This is a supervisory position and shall also include overseeing, mentoring, and managing a team of subcontracts and procurement professionals performing cradle-to-grave subcontract administration and material purchases. The individual will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day subcontract management of major subcontracts to include support of proposals, issuance of new subcontracts, modifications, evaluating performance issues and the maintenance of file documentation to ensure compliance with CPSR and corporate objectives are met.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as the main advisor to the Deputy Director of Supply Chain Management, Program Management and Operations Management supporting all subcontracting and procurement functional requirements.Assist in driving day-to-day execution for the subcontracts and procurement team.Support the development of short and long-range plans and resources requirements, such as personnel, materials, equipment and overall methods and processes relating to the procurement process.Drive execution specific to subcontracting and procurement activities in support of the F-16 Iraq Program at the Martyr BG Ali Flaih Air Base (AFAB) in Iraq Develop strategies to maximize competition, negotiations, and management of supplier performance.Ensure the Procurement team is engaged in development and support of proposal strategies and recommend pricing approaches to ensure proposals offer clients best value.Collaborate and work closely with contracts to ensure Customer solicitations are reviewed for potential risks.Monitor supplier compliance, including timely delivery of deliverables, in coordination with the logistics team.Resolve supplier performance issues in collaboration with the applicable program leadership.Supervise procurement professionals in executing day-to-day activities. Provide training, mentorship to the team with varied levels of proficiencies.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of direct subcontracts and procurement management experience5+ years of supervising/leading projects or 3+ years with a PMP In-depth knowledge of writing and reviewing requests for proposals, subcontracts, purchase orders, TAs, NDAs and negotiation of terms and conditions and special provisionsStrong knowledge of procurement and CPSR procedures (FAR and DFARS), as well as a strong grasp of negotiation techniques and shredding and interpreting prime contract requirements Strong leadership skills.Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to develop effective relationships internally and externally.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable working with executives and representing functional plans and priorities to senior leaders.Drive organizational efficiencies and savings to the business.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with Deltek CostPoint and Maximo ERP SystemsNCMA CPCP/CFCM or PMP Certification and/or relevant professional certification(s)Ability to energize a geographically dispersed (worldwide) team of subcontracts and procurement professionals.Physical Requirements And Work ConditionsWork is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.Individual may be required to work non-standard schedule to effectively manage activities and communicate requirements to forward operating location(s), suppliers etc.Travel to and support programs in hostile and/or post-conflict environments.Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
