Course Overview:

On-the-job Overview:
During the 4 years, you will be undertaking 80% on the job training and 20% off the job training. You will be working with a highly skilled team and learning aspects of Engineering placements in Technical Project Management, Design (CAD & 2D Drawing), DVP (Design Verification Planning), Manufacturing Processes, Circuit Diagrams and Customer Interface. You will have the opportunity to progress through the company and work at prestigious OEM’s and visit Leoni Plants in different overseas locations e.g. Egypt, Romania and Serbia etc.
Qualifications/Skills:
A minimum of 4 GCSE grades C (Grade 4) or above in Maths and English. Level 3 Diploma or extended Diploma in Engineering (with a Merit, Merit, Merit profile) or 3 A Level subjects including Maths and a science (C or above). To be successful, you will need to demonstrate your willingness to learn, have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be competent with Microsoft Office programmes, in particular Microsoft Excel. As this role will involve some travel to LEONI sites a full UK driving licence will be desirable.
